Note: To create or manage users you must have User Admin access.
1. To create a new User go to Account – Admin – Users and click Open.
(Note: If Users is not listed on your bar as shown above then you do not have User Admin access. Contact the Account Administrator within your company to get access.)
2. Click User at the bottom of the User List panel.
3. Enter the username and password. Click Create User.
4. Enter user information and Save Changes.
5. Assign Vehicle Groups to the User. The User can only see vehicle groups to which he/she has access.
Select groups from the right panel and click Add. Be sure to Save Changes when you’re finished.
6. Assign permissions to the User. See How do I assign user access permissions?
Once permissions have been assigned the User is created.
To edit a User profile click on the first or last name, time zone, or email to edit those fields. Or click the pencil icon.
Change which Vehicle Groups and Driver Groups a User has access to on the User List.
Or…Edit User access on the Vehicle Group List.
Or…Edit User access on the Driver Group List (you may need to scroll down to see the Driver Group List).
If you have 3400 or 3500 diagnostic units and you would like the user to be able to view vehicles’ diagnostic data then you will also need to Create a user in the Classic View. Give them the same username and password as you did above.
