With Fuel Card Integration GPS Insight customers using Wright Express fuel cards can generate Fuel Card Reports on all fuel card transactions and, more importantly, see flagged activity where a specified vehicle was not present for the associated purchase transaction. Fuel Card Reporting also allows for the calculation of MPG data and the easy identification of non-fuel purchases.
Setting up Fuel Card Integration
To initiate the fuel card integration capability please email your Wright Express account number to GPS Insight Support at support@gpsinsight.com.
The link between your GPS Insight vehicles and Wright Express fuel cards is made through the vehicles’ VIN numbers. You must make sure that the VIN numbers on your Wright Express account match the VIN numbers for those vehicles on your GPS Insight account. You can view and edit your vehicle VIN numbers on the GPS Insight side through your Vehicle List.

Any changes to VIN numbers on your Wright Express account will need to be made through your Wright Express account.
Once the VIN numbers match it should take 24-48 hours for the data to be linked. A fuel card icon to the left of the vehicle in the Vehicle List indicates that the link has been made.

Fuel Card Reports
Analyze fuel card activity with these GPS Insight Reports:
- WEX Fuel Transactions - Details about each fuel transaction to help identify fuel card fraud
- WEX Fuel Usage - Summarized fuel efficiency and fuel consumption
- State Mileage - Vehicle mileage and fuel transactions organized by state
Adding New Fuel Cards
When you add new fuel cards to your fleet you must notify Wright Express that cards have been added to your GPS Insight vehicles. Verify that the vehicle VIN numbers match. Watch for the fuel card icon to verify the link has been made.
