How do I save a 3D Current map link in Google Earth?
You can run a 3D current map and save it so the current location of the selected vehicles will be accessible in Google Earth without having to rerun 3D Current mapping.
1. Download the current map of a vehicle group.
2. When Google Earth has finished loading, the current status report will appear in the ‘Temporary Places’ folder.
3. Select the folder ‘Current Group: Vehicle Group Name’ and drag it to the ‘My Places’ folder.
4. Save by choosing File: Save: Save My Places. Now when Google Earth is opened the current status will appear under the Current Group Folder.
